Suicide Prevention; Northeast Ohio Economy; Bird Watching in Mentor Headlands

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released a report last week that showed an increase in the rates of suicide in 49 out of 50 states. Just as the report was being released, two high profile, successful and beloved people, Chef and TV Host Anthony Bourdain and Fashion Designer Kate Spade, took their own lives.  Loved ones have come out to say there were dealing with depression. An expert talks about the signs and what to do if you or a loved one needs help.

Is Northeast Ohio's economy lagging? Cleveland lawyer Jon Pinney says yes, and seeks a unified response in reversing the trend. The primary author of the Two Tomorrows report from The Fund for Our Economic Future talks about what can be done to boost this region's economy.

The fragmities are nearly gone, and the mentor marsh is the way it looked originally. It's the story of an amazing reclamation.
