First Hispanic Bishop; Nurse Shortage & Virtual Simulations in Nursing School

This week, the Pope named Bishop Nelson Perez the new leader of the Cleveland Catholic Diocese. On The Sound of Ideas, we’ll learn more about the first Hispanic bishop of Cleveland. Then, the Center for Health Affairs projects that Northeast Ohio will need another 3,500 nurses by 2020 to meet demand. We’ll discuss how locals are addressing the shortage and learn about new virtual technology helping nursing students.
